The Problems AI can Solve

With recent major advances in the world of AI and Computer Vision, the range of problems that can now be solved using your existing CCTV network is growing rapidly

The new rule of thumb is, if a human can be trained to detect something on a security camera, then so can AI.  Its not just recognising people and cars anymore.  Security cameras can be trained to detect highly custom events and complex behaviours, even where the quality of the camera resolution is poor and the footage grainy.

And once you detect the event or behaviour on the cameras, you can trigger pretty much any kind of action, from simple email alerts, to uploading data to your existing customer or logistics systems, to activating gates and guiding automated loaders at a warehouse.

AI can turn your passive 'dumb' cameras into smart cameras, like having another member of staff on hand.

Table Management

Using just one security camera, and several layers of AI models, we can create an application capable of tracking a customers progress through a meal at a bar or restaurant.

In this example we are using one AI model to automatically detect the status of a table, whether it is occupied or not, another to track staff and see their interactions with the occupied tables, and a third model to determine when menus, drinks or food have arrived at the table.

With this information we can begin to digitise the life cycle of table management, record progress through a meal in real time, and create tools to better manage the diners experience

Care Home Monitoring

CCTV in care homes can be more than just an extra pair of eyes.  Cameras can be trained to automatically raise alerts where residents have an accident or show symptoms of needing emergency assistance.  They can monitor for specific behaviours from residents, carers and visitors, and they can even look out for potential damage to expensive medical or safety equipment.

Give over-worked care home staff an effective tool to keep residents safe, and loved ones an extra layer of peace of mind.

Zonal Marking

Most modern CCTV can now define zones on a screen and trigger alarms, but custom AI can raise that usefulness to a whole new level.

What if you want to be notified when someone picks up a parcel from a given zone, or drops off some specific piece of machinery?  What if you want to keep tabs on how many people have entered a zone, or monitor the movement between two or more zones?

These things are now possible with custom AI, using your existing camera network, and well within reach of businesses of every size.

Anti-Social Behaviour

Get real-time information on fighting and other anti-social behaviour at your location, without a constant stream of false alerts.

Custom AI built using images from your cameras at your locations can now easily tell the difference between noisy but harmless social interactions, and real issues.

Reduce staff stress load by making your security cameras more like security guards, actively monitoring a scene for specific behaviours you have defined.
